Sonya Paramore has been a therapist for 10 years and is passionate about helping others find life and freedom.  She specializes in working with those impacted by sexual, emotional, and spiritual abuse, as well as grief & loss, trauma, codependency, and sexual addiction.  

She received an Advanced Counseling Certificate in 2012 from the Allender Center in Trauma & Abuse Counseling and has benefitted personally and professionally from the work of John Eldredge and Ransomed Heart Ministries.  She also has been trained in EMDR, which is an evidenced-based practice of treating PTSD.  EMDR has been shown to also be helpful for those experiencing anxiety, grief, or depression.  

Sonya understands the ways in which evil attempts to kill, steal, and destroy.  She considers it a priviledge to walk with others to name their stories, fight for healing and wholeness, and learn to love well.
