A Year-End Note of Gratitude

Precious Friends, Allies, Comrades…

I hope this letter reaches you before the onslaught of the holidays! 

If my letters have been less consistent this year, it’s partly because of the rise in popularity of my “fatherly” Friday videos—a much more current and personal way to connect with you every week. So if you’ve been wondering why these letters have been sporadic, now you know! And if you aren’t getting those Friday videos, you can subscribe using the link at the bottom of this letter.

It’s been a stunning year here at the ministry. 

Breathtaking, really. 

Jesus continues to use this little shop to usher in profound redemption in the lives of women and men all around the world! Here’s what I mean:

I wanted to write this thank-you note to tell you how blessed beyond measure your podcast and books have been to me through the years. Your messages have allowed me to grow in God spiritually like never before. I want to specifically thank you for the Advanced Spiritual Warfare podcast. This brought a special freedom to me in my story with terrible sexual addictions. When I went through this podcast, I prayed through and took care of the demonic influences and oppression in my life, and I have experienced total freedom in this area I have struggled with in my 64 years of life. I just wanted to thank you beyond measure for being bold enough to share the truths so rare in the Christian church.

Our podcasts continue to grow, especially with the addition of video podcasts on YouTube and Spotify. And the Pause app has become perhaps the largest way people connect with us:

I have been a Wild a Heart listener and reader for many years. I just went through the 20-day Pause app journey of Experiencing Jesus. After being in ministry for 35 years, now retired, it was life-changing. I cried through most of the pauses. I experienced Jesus in a whole new way. But mainly I wanted to tell you about my experience in week 4. As I sat in my chair on the morning of day 18, Jesus asked me to go back and remember my childhood wounds, so I did. And wept. But a miracle happened…I saw myself in each childhood memory, and then Jesus showed up right in the middle of it, reached out his hand, and said, “I’m taking you away from here. I’m here to rescue you.” Every…single…memory. So thank you, thank you, thank you—I am FREE!

Breathtaking. And I could have shared a thousand more. It causes my heart to surge with love for and gratitude to Jesus!

And, friends, I also need to tell you how grateful we are for you. It’s your love, prayers, and partnership that allow us to stay small, give all this away around the world, and usher in redemption like you’ve just read.

We’re a small outfit, nonprofit, “crowd-funded,” as the saying goes, with a budget half the size of ministries with the same global reach.

So a few times a year, I make our needs known to our friends. We need to raise 50 percent of our income between this letter and the end of the year! I know God is faithful, and we trust him completely. But he loves to use his friends. Would you talk to him about supporting us to reach our goals by the end of the year?

We have such exciting things coming in 2026, including––finally––we have rebuilt the technology of the Pause app to allow us to begin to implement foreign languages! Friends, this is going to be a watershed breakthrough; it could quadruple our global influence in one year simply by adding a few languages. And from there, the growth is an open horizon!

We are also holding live events in several countries in 2026. The Pause app and these international initiatives are something we simply underwrite.

AND…I need to tell you about Replenish - Homecoming 2026! This is a “family gathering” here in Colorado Springs for all our friends and allies—two days of teaching, conversation, worship, and connecting! You’ve got to come! It begins Friday, June 12, at 2 pm and runs through Saturday night, the 13th. Tickets are now available on our website!

Okay. That’s it. Well, almost.
