I haven’t made New Year’s resolutions for millennia.  Ok, for centuries.  Well, for decades anyway.  But the turn of the calendar makes for such a great opportunity to look back and to look ahead.  It’s affords a moment to check in with your soul and ask yourself some questions.

Here’s what I’m asking:

What is a destination I would like to visit?

What is something new I would like to try?

What to I want to spend more time doing?

What is a habit I am going to break?

What do I want to do/be better at?

What would I like to work harder at?

What is a skill I’d like to learn or improve upon?

This New Year affords the potential for me (and you) to grow and become more our true selves.  I’d like to become a kinder me.  A less demanding me.  A more grace-filled woman.  A gentler version of myself on myself.  I’m not championing the phrase “New Year, New You!”  Instead, I’m embracing, “New Year, True You!”

Cheers to the True.
