A man needs a deeper understanding of his masculine heart—and why God made him just like that. What if those deep desires in our hearts are telling us the truth, revealing to us the lives we were meant to live? A man must know he is powerful; he must know he has what it takes. The way we handle the heart is everything. Basic is not a retreat about the “seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy.” It is a four-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart—his passions and his true nature—all given him by God.

The weekend will be hosted at the Historic Riverbend Farm in Effie, MN, on the Bigfork River. ~4-hour drive from the Minneapolis area
The location is rustic and off the beaten path, with several hundred acres to explore.
Sessions are held in the beautifully restored barn. A house, two cabins, a yurt, and multiple RVs will be accommodations. It's a beautiful and wild location in northern MN, and if you are interested in sleeping under the stars, feel free to bring a tent.
Miles of ATV trails and a river run through the property, so pack accordingly to be outside in northern MN weather.
Outside of appropriate clothing, some other ideas are:
-ATV or SXS if you have one
-Kayak or canoe for the river
-Guns and Ammo for target shooting or trap
-fishing gear (muskies, northern pike, smallmouth bass, and walleyes)
-Sleeping bag & pillow
-water shoes for the river
-Bug/tick spray
-Bible
-Flashlight/headlamp
-Folding chair or camp chair
-Journal and pen
