The Loudest Roar with Judy Dunagan

Stasi is thrilled to welcome author, teacher, and speaker Judy Dunagan to discuss her book, The Loudest Roar. Judy shares her personal journey of faith, recalling how her loving upbringing in a Christian home influenced her to grow to know Jesus as her best friend from a young age. Judy teaches believers to stand firm against spiritual warfare through Scripture and prayer by taking ownership of their authority in Christ. She offers powerful insights and practical ways to deepen one’s prayer life, including praying Scripture and engaging in lamentation as an act of worship. Friends, Jesus’ unshakable victory is our strength, and it is in trusting his triumph that we find our refuge. The enemy roars, but our fierce King's roar is louder! He is mighty, and we are mighty and powerful in him.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: Revelation 12:9 (NLT) — This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.1 Peter 3:22 (NIV) — who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.Ephesians 2:6 (NIV) — And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,Romans 8:22 (NLT) — For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.1 Peter 5:8 (NLT) — Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV) — Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.Psalm 91:4 (NIV) — He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.John 17 — In its entirety; Jesus PraysHebrews 4:16 (NLT) —  So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. Ask John Anything - Part 2

In the second half of the series, Allen asks John more of your big questions—including what Wild at Heart's key doctrinal beliefs are, how to address the isolation divorced Christians face, whether the exact wording of our prayers makes a difference, what to do when husbands and fathers don't provide spiritual leadership, and how to respond to the growing global chaos. If you have a question you'd like addressed in a future podcast, send it to questions@wildatheart.org._______________________________________________There is more.Support the mission or find more on our website: WildAtHeart.org or on our app.Apple: Wild At Heart AppAndroid: Wild At Heart AppEpisode Number 783Watch on YouTubeMore pauses available in the One Minute Pause app for Apple iOS and Android.Apple: One Minute Pause AppAndroid: One Minute Pause App

Ask John Anything - Part 1

Ever wish you could ask John a question about a Wild at Heart podcast or for advice as a spiritual father? We created an email for listeners and viewers to do just that...and the response has been overwhelming! Allen chose some of the most intriguing questions to ask John in this first half of the series—including why we don't see miracles today like in Jesus' time, whether it's normal for believers to be exhausted, if we should ask angels directly for help, and how to recover the lost intimacy we once had with God.If you have a question you'd like addressed in a future podcast, send it to questions@wildatheart.org._______________________________________________There is more.Support the mission or find more on our website: WildAtHeart.org or on our app.Apple: Wild At Heart AppAndroid: Wild At Heart AppEpisode Number 782Watch on YouTubeMore pauses available in the One Minute Pause app for Apple iOS and Android.Apple: One Minute Pause AppAndroid: One Minute Pause App_______________________________________________

Psalm 103

Today, Stasi invites us to journey with her as she unpacks one of her favorite psalms, Psalm 103, which reminds us of all the ways God has moved in our lives and continues to do so. This beautiful psalm instructs our souls to praise the Lord by reminding us of the splendor, majesty, and goodness of God. Turning our hearts' attention to our holy God naturally evokes worship from our inmost being. Stasi concludes with a guided time together, focusing on quieting our souls to praise God for the abundant blessings and love he showers upon us.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: Psalm 103 — In its entiretyExodus 3:14 (NLT)  — God replied to Moses, “I am who I am. Say this to the people of Israel: I am has sent me to you.”Proverbs 11:30 (NLT)  — The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.Psalm 16:9-10 (NLT)  — No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.Ezekiel 18:4 (ASV)  — Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.Acts 2:41 (NLT)  — Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.Revelation 18:13 (ASV)  — and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep; and merchandise of horses and chariots and slaves; and souls of men.Jeremiah 38:16 (NIV)  — But King Zedekiah swore this oath secretly to Jeremiah: “As surely as the Lord lives, who has given us breath, I will neither kill you nor hand you over to those who want to kill you.”2 Peter 2:14 (ASV)  — having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; enticing unstedfast souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; children of cursing;James 1:21 (NLT)  — So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.Leviticus 17:11 (NLT)  — for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.1 Peter 1:22 (NLT)  — You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.1 Peter 2:25 (NLT)  — Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.Matthew 11:29 (NLT)  — Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.Acts 13:35–37 (NLT)  — Another psalm explains it more fully: ‘You will not allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.’ This is not a reference to David, for after David had done the will of God in his own generation, he died and was buried with his ancestors, and his body decayed. No, it was a reference to someone else—someone whom God raised and whose body did not decay.Hebrews 4:12 (NLT)  — For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.John 14:1 (NLT)  — Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.1 Corinthians 2:16 (NLT)  — For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.Colossians 3:2 (NLT)  — Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.Philippians 4:8 (NLT)  — And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.Romans 8:11 (NLT)  — The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.Leviticus 26:11-12 (KJV)  — And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.Proverbs 9:10 (NLT)  — Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.1 John 4:18 (NLT)  — Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.…..RESOURCES:The Treasury of David – Psalm 103 by Charles H. Moving into Fierce Mastery

From the time of Eden, God continually invites his sons and daughters to experience fierce mastery in powerful acts of creation that bring beauty, life, and order to this world. Awakening Your Creativity

St. Irenaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive." One of the significant ways we express the glory of God is through our creativity. Because to reflect the image of God is to be wildly creative. In the first half of this series, John and Allen share why pursuing what we love to do with God is essential to our wholeness—and how shame tries to derail this heart-awakening. Love As Refuge with John Eldredge

Why is seeking refuge in God's love essential during these turbulent times? Today, Stasi invites her beloved husband, John, to explore just that. They delve into his upcoming book, which will be released in February 2025, to talk about living in the safety of the shelter of God's love. They also highlight the vital practice of offering radical forgiveness and avoiding bitterness. Friends, our God’s divine love serves as a sanctuary and is the only safe place for our hearts. We flourish under the canopy of his love. In today’s podcast, we'll explore how to cultivate this in our daily lives and relationships by practicing tangible ways to stay tucked in.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: 1 John 4:7–8; 15–17 (NLT) — Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  …  All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.  We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.Psalm 91:1–2 (NLT) — Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.Philippians 1:9 (NLT) — I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. Deuteronomy 4:24 (NLT) — The Lord your God is a devouring fire; he is a jealous God.Hebrews 12:25–29 (NLT) — Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring fire.…..RESOURCES:Wild at Heart Podcast – Spotify: https://wahe.art/3xsHmuvWild at Heart Podcast – YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@WildatHeartOfficialJohn’s New Book – Title TBD – Releases February 2025; visit WildAtHeart.org for updatesThe Awakened Heart by Gerald May – https://amzn.to/4b5ApNP…..Don’t Miss Out on the Next Episode – Subscribe for FreeSubscribe using your favorite podcast app:Spotify Podcasts – https://spoti.fi/42SsOipApple Podcasts – https://apple.co/42E0oZ1 Google Podcasts – http://wahe.art/3M81kxLAmazon Music & Audible – https://amzn.to/3M9u6hJ

Anguish and Adoration with Michelle Patterson

Stasi welcomes friend, teacher, singer-songwriter, and lover of God Michelle Patterson to share her powerful story of unwavering and resilient faith amid chronic pain and illness. Michelle has found deep strength in her relationship with Jesus, and she desires to flip the script: Choosing life in the midst of chronic suffering is a stunning strength, not a weakness. She reveals how anguish and adoration can coexist; true worship arises from our deepest, most honest places. We'll hear Michelle's heart and empathy through a song she wrote to honor those living with chronic pain—a testament to God's sustaining love even in our darkest moments.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: Matthew 22:37 (NIV) — Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.Isaiah 61:3 (NIV)  —  and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.Psalm 34:18 (NLT)  —  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.…..MICHELLE PATTERSONWebsite: barryandmichelle.com  https://barryandmichelle.com/Instagram: @michellethornberrypatterson   https://www.instagram.com/michellethornberrypatterson/Instagram: @barryandmichellepatterson   https://www.instagram.com/barryandmichellepatterson/Spotify Channel: https://wahe.art/4b9Il0uSong: The Flower That Blooms in the Night – Time code 32:40follow @barryandmichellepatterson for news on it’s public release…..Don’t Miss Out on the Next Episode – Subscribe for FreeSubscribe using your favorite podcast app:Spotify Podcasts – https://spoti.fi/42SsOipApple Podcasts – https://apple.co/42E0oZ1 Google Podcasts – http://wahe.art/3M81kxLAmazon Music & Audible – https://amzn.to/3M9u6hJ

The Future of Wild at Heart

In the second half of the series, John and Stasi talk about the deep spiritual ties Wild at Heart has to Iona, Celtic Christianity, and a gospel that is free from the religious spirit. They share about the wild early days of our podcast that's now aired close to 800 weekly episodes. But more than reminiscing about the past, John and Stasi share about the future of this fellowship of the heart—from increasing our global impact to the Wild at Heart fires igniting around the world. _______________________________________________ There is more.
