Part 2
Part 2 – We are created for intimacy with God. It’s what our hearts long for. And that intimacy includes a conversational relationship with him. All of those wonderful stories we read about in Scripture, where “The Lord said to Moses” and “Moses said to the Lord,” where King David “inquired of the Lord” – are examples of what an intimate relationship with God looks like. God longs to speak, and it is our privilege to hear his voice. For as Jesus said: “his sheep will follow him because they know his voice... I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep, and my sheep know me... They too will listen to my voice.” (John 10: 4, 14, 16)In this unrehearsed conversation, John Eldredge and Craig McConnell discuss why and how we are invited into this closest of fellowships with God and how to develop a conversational intimacy with him. They share the centrality of the Word of God, but also how to learn to listen to discern the voice of the Lord when he speaks to us personally. Both are essential for the Christian life. Both are vital as we navigate through this dangerous world. Developing a conversational relationship with God will revolutionize your life!

Part 2
What kind of man is this? As Part 2 of The Life of Jesus unfolds, John Eldredge explores a string of extraordinary stories from Matthew 8–17 that reveal Jesus’ calm authority, intentional love, and surprising playfulness. From calming storms and casting out demons to navigating heartbreak after John the Baptist’s death, we see a man of deep capacity—able to engage enemies with restraint, speak hard truths with clarity, and still retreat for solitude when grief overwhelms. With unmatched kindness, Jesus extends healing to the blind, raises the dead, welcomes the weary, and even provides a temple tax coin through the mouth of a fish—all without losing his center. His actions consistently model a fierce love and unshakable maturity that defy religious expectation and cultural pressure. If you’ve ever longed to know Jesus more personally—as someone you could laugh with, trust in crisis, and follow with confidence—this episode invites you deeper into that journey. 00 – Advanced Session Questions

Part 2
Part 2 – 1 Corinthians 16:13 says, "Stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong." To be a man is a very powerful thing. How to become a man is something most people know little about. There is a journey a boy goes through from boyhood to young manhood. In this two-part conversation, the team shares their experiences in growing up as boys with two purposes in mind: to help men "fill in the holes" in their masculine journey and to help our listeners be more intentional about raising boys into men.

07 – Loving Jesus
Session 7: Loving Jesus – In this session, recorded live at Wild at Heart Advanced, John shares on the importance of Loving Jesus through every part of our life. Contains mature themes and language.

Part 3
Part 3 – When we discover what the salvation of Jesus Christ means for our own restoration, we'll find that holiness is an expression of the healing of our humanity. What a relief it would be to be set free from all that plagues us: the inner struggle with anger or contempt, the struggle with habitual sins. There is good news! We can be set free through the healing work of Christ in our lives and be made more whole. In this four-part series, John Eldredge explores the beauty of the genuine goodness available to us in Jesus Christ and guides us through the process whereby God makes us whole and holy by his love. You will be relieved. Utterly.

Part 4
So many of us have resigned ourselves to a smaller story—losing sight of the deeper desires that once made us feel truly alive. In this session, Gary Barkalow invites us to recognize the subtle but powerful assumptions that shape our lives, helping us uncover the calling God has written into our hearts. Through stories, film clips, and personal reflection, we’re reminded that our deepest desires are not random—they are the clues to our design, and they reveal our unique place in God’s story. When we try to live from duty alone, we drift into resignation. But when we return to our heart’s true desires, we recover our authentic swing—the life we were created to live. This is an invitation to live with clarity, passion, and deep alignment with who God made you to be.

Part 7
Part 7 – The Scriptures talk a lot about prayer, but we’re left wondering what to do with it or, more importantly, how to do it. At least, how to do it in a way that works – meaning, that it actually brings about change. But that’s what prayer is supposed to do! When Jesus teaches us to pray “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,” he means precisely that – that our prayers can enable the Kingdom of God to come for his will to be done “on earth as it is in heaven” – here and now. In The Hope of Prayer 8-part series, John Eldredge teaches us how to pray with hope and confidence. There are few thoughts as hopeful as the thought that things can be different. And so the disciples said, “Teach us to pray.”

Part 2 – With Morgan Snyder
Part 2: Loving Men with Morgan Snyder – Every woman has men in her life—a father, husband, brother, son or even co-workers. And often, problems enter into these relationships simply from not understanding their hearts, thoughts and desires. In this special teaching, Morgan Snyder takes a look at this topic from a masculine point of view (with his wife Cherie responding). Through personal stories and candid discussion, women will discover how to care for the hearts of men by reflecting the heart of God.

Part 3
Part 3 – Our culture is one of fierce independence. Yet God's kingdom is not a democracy. In his kingdom, we are all followers first. This is why Jesus invites his disciples to… "follow me". In this extended conversation, John Eldredge and Craig McConnell share what it means to follow—and to lead—well. They reveal our desperate need for true Spiritual Fathers and Mothers who can help us navigate this world of self-appointed leaders. Each of us has a realm under our authority. Discover the high calling, costs and rewards of being a spiritual leader.

02 – Warfare
Session 2: Warfare Advanced – In this session, recorded live at Wild at Heart Advanced, John teaches on the role of spiritual warfare in our lives, how to identify it, and most importantly, how to battle and win against our adversary. Contains mature themes and language.
