Part 5

Part 5 – The Scriptures talk a lot about prayer, but we’re left wondering what to do with it or, more importantly, how to do it. At least, how to do it in a way that works – meaning, that it actually brings about change. But that’s what prayer is supposed to do! When Jesus teaches us to pray “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,” he means precisely that – that our prayers can enable the Kingdom of God to come for his will to be done “on earth as it is in heaven” – here and now. In The Hope of Prayer 8-part series, John Eldredge teaches us how to pray with hope and confidence. There are few thoughts as hopeful as the thought that things can be different. And so the disciples said, “Teach us to pray.”

Part 2

Part 2 – We are relational to the core. Yet it's impossible for us to be fully present to those around us if we neglect our own soul. In this extended conversation (taken from a 10-part podcast series), John Eldredge and Craig McConnell discuss the importance of loving well and connecting with others. They discuss three styles of relating (moving towards, moving against, moving away), how to avoid relational sabotage, the power of forgiveness and the difference between loving an evil person and loving a fool. Most of all, you'll discover the power of your presence—and the joy of true community—found only through Relational Freedom.

01 – Walking With God

Session 1: Walking with God – In this session, recorded live at Wild at Heart Advanced, John walks us through hearing, and listening to, the voice of God. This is the foundation for the other teachings in this series. Contains mature themes and language.

04 – Healing (Deep Restoration)

Part 4: Healing — If you look at the ways in which Christ engages others, you’ll notice he offers his life in the areas covered in this 4-part teaching on the Four Streams: Discipleship (Walking with God), Warfare (Spiritual Warfare), Counseling (Receiving God’s Intimate Counsel), and Healing (Deep Restoration). Christ wants to do more for us than simply forgive. He wants to restore us. Look at the miracles He did: The blind saw, the lame walked, the dead were raised to life. Through these miraculous stories, Christ was trying to show us something. Look! This is what I want to do for you! I want to restore you. Listen to this life-changing message as John teaches on each stream, as well as providing practical application.

06 – Suffering

Session 6: Suffering – In this session, recorded live at Wild at Heart Advanced, John addresses our need to reconcile the desire for healing, and loving Jesus in the face of suffering. Contains mature themes and language.

Part 2

Part 2 – Raising Girls takes us into a world of twirling skirts, pretty shoes, and tea parties. This conversation explores the heart of a little girl from personal stories and the perspective of parenting—what a girl needs, what she wants, and what makes her heart come alive as she asks the questions, “Do you see me? Am I lovely?” The stories shared in this two-part conversation are of brokenness and redemption, heartache and delight, and the beauty that emerges when the feminine heart knows she is truly and deeply loved.

Part 1

Part 1 – We are relational to the core. Yet it's impossible for us to be fully present to those around us if we neglect our own soul. In this extended conversation (taken from a 10-part podcast series), John Eldredge and Craig McConnell discuss the importance of loving well and connecting with others. Part 1

In this opening session, John Eldredge invites us into a deeper understanding of desire—not as something to suppress, but as a map to the life God intended. Desire is not the problem; it is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23). John challenges the false narrative that Christianity is a list of chores and invites us into a much bigger story—one filled with intimacy, beauty, adventure, and danger. He weaves together scripture, story, and film to reawaken what has been forgotten: we were made for intimacy with God. Our longings are not obstacles but signposts—pointing us toward a life of freedom and fullness. If this resonates with your heart, dive deeper by reading The Sacred Romance or reflecting with the A Sacred Romance Daily Reading. You can also explore these themes in the Wild at Heart podcast episode, Less-Wild Lovers, which unpacks how we settle for less than the life God promises. This session is more than an introduction—it’s an invitation to recover your heart and begin the journey of desire.

Part 4

Part 4 – Hope is for our soul as breathing is to our body – we cannot live without it. Hope is how we thrive. Paul even says that our faith and love spring from the hope we have in the coming Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:5). And yet, very few people actually think about the promised life that is coming to us. Our thoughts about "heaven" are so bland and boring, no wonder we aren't bursting with hope! In this powerful five-session series, John and Stasi Eldredge explore the beauty of the Kingdom of God that will soon be ours. Your heart will be filled with renewed hope and your spirit will soar at the sheer joy of it! But be warned. This isn't a series for passive listening… it's one you'll want to keep a journal handy and actively enter into. Through the sessions, John and Stasi invite you into times of prayer and introspection that will fill your heart with awe and anchor your hopes in the coming Kingdom.

Part 1

In the course of our days, we hope for so many things. But how often do we place our hope in the coming Kingdom? Doing so…changes everything.
