We go through dry seasons. Every one of us. Seasons when it is difficult to sense the Presence of God as we once did. Seasons when our prayers become harder to utter as they seem to bounce off the walls around us. Seasons when our prayers remain un - answered in the way we so deeply long for them to be. We can withdraw from God. Our faith may waver. We may wander away.

No matter how long the season, no matter how far we may drift, no matter how weak our faith may feel, we are not abandoned by the Master Potter. He is faithful to His word and promises that He will never leave us or abandon us (Hebrews 13:5–6). The season will pass as all seasons do, and our hearts will need tending. We will need to be reclaimed by the One we gave our hearts to regardless of how long ago. He is faithful to reclaim us.
Throughout the days and dailies of our lives, in the ordinary ins and outs as well as the extraordinary defining moments, God is committed to forming us into the very image of Jesus. He is continually at work shaping us, reclaiming us, and fashioning us into His masterpiece of exquisite glory.
