Rollie's been immersed in the message and ministry of Ransomed Heart and Wild At Heart for decades and incorporates many of the RH themes and teaching in his counseling practice.  Over the past few years, he and his team have labored together presenting The Wild At Heart Bootcamp via the BASIC video format.  He's invited many of his counseling clients to attend BASIC, and to a man, they've seen significant healing and restoration.  He sees clients in Walla Walla and Richland, Washington as part of Emmaus Counseling Center. 

Now living in his hometown of Walla Walla, Washington, Rollie revels in the miracle of his grandchildren sprouting and growing before his eyes, enjoys making and listening to music, reading widely, delighting in the life of his friends, and 'gettin' outa Dodge' to the mountains whenever possible!

Rollie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who began practicing in Tacoma, Washington in 1992, joining Emmaus Counseling in 2016.  

His prior work includes directorship of Discovery Center, an outreach and school for at-risk children and their families, extensive teaching and business experience, as well as outreach and support of local churches through teaching and preaching ministries.  His training includes seminary and pastoral counseling.  

Rollie views counseling as forming an alliance with his clients by not only exploring specific problems which bring a client to counseling, but also taking the crucial in-depth look at the nature of relationships in his client’s life and how those relationships affect their life in the present.  He enjoys helping people with a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups with a special focus on men and men’s issues, as well as pre-marital and marriage counseling.  He is SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) certified for pre-marital counseling and utilizes the Gottman Method for marriage therapy.
