The Church of The Open Door is a nondenominational, biblically orthodox, Christian Church, in York, PA. This diverse group of like-minded men, gather on Thursday nights at our East Campus and study topics centered around the Wild at Heart message. We have been meeting since 2017. As of March 2021 we have put on single day events, such as themed men's breakfasts, and an all day, Wild at Heart Experience, to promote this message.

Our second Wild At Heart BASIC is led by our team on February 23-26, 2023, at the Refreshing Mountain Retreat & Adventure Center in nearby Stevens, PA. 

The group is led by Dr. John "Jay" Darrell, a retired heart surgeon and a man committed to men's physical and spiritual hearts. He has been leading men's groups and weekend events since 1997. He is an active member of the Wild At Heart Leaders.
