The Houston Band of Brothers (HBOB) is a fellowship of men in Northeast Houston that have benefited from boot camps around the book Wild at Heart by John Eldredge.  Each of us has seen God do amazing things in our lives, our families and our friends as our hearts have come alive.  It is our sincere passion to share this experience with other men that we know.

Who’s Involved?

HBOB includes men from various walks of life and backgrounds.  We are wholeheartedly commited to seeing our friends walk in freedom.  We are fully aware that everything good happens through the work of Jesus Christ.  We agree that this story is all about Him and not about us.  We are united in our commitment to serving Jesus Christ.  We are united in fighting for our wives, children, and each other.  We are united around implementing the basic truths of the Apostle’s Creed in our daily lives.

Oversight

HBOB is overseen by a Board of Advisors that include spiritually mature men who have walked in the Wild at Heart message and have experience in conducting boot camps.

Organization

We are a not-for-profit organization incorporated in the State of Texas.  The core function of our organization is to conduct weekend retreats modeled from the Wild at Heart Boot Camp.
