Lamb's Tale Ministries provides ministry leaders (pastors, missionaries, para church staff) a place to get away and refresh their mind, bodies and souls.  The offer is for two free nights at the Haven River Inn, a beautiful historical bed and breakfast on the bank of the Guadalupe River in Comfort, Texas. It sounds too good to be true (we get that a lot), but the ministry was birthed in the wake of a pastor who went through some depression and burnout.  The question that came out of this situation was, "Who cares for those who care for us?"  This ministry is an attempt to help fill that role.  So how does it work?  The two free nights are offered Sunday through Thursday nights (upon availability).  It includes a bedroom with a private bath and a full hot breakfast. Guests can take advantage of the offer once a year with additional nights available at a reduced ministry rate.  To qualify for this special time away and to truly have a break, guests will need to find someone to keep their kids (nursing infants are the exception) and schedule the stay when no one else from the same staff is at the Haven.

We realize that ministry life comes with its own set of challenges. it is often hard to find someone who understands ministry life and can be a safe place to help you process through these issues.  The Haven Chaplain is around at breakfast to connect with leaders if they would like to chat or just want to know fun things to do or great places to eat in the area.
