Katherine has walked with me through some really wild stuff, and her depth and intuition made those journeys so much richer. She hears from the Spirit and she counsels with her hand in his. It's an honor to work with her.

Katherine is wonderful! She is a great gift to the counseling profession and somehow offers a beautiful balance of counseling and spiritual direction at the same time. Her gift is clearly a keen listening for the Holy Spirit and she gently brings this gift to any session. Also, Katherine clearly sees her work as being a ministry rather than just a career, which is a unique experience for me in the counseling world. Katherine is amazing. I've referred several friends to her as well. She is so in tune with the nudgings of the Holy Spirit because she slows down enough to hear Him. Katherine has helped me connect with The Lord through brainspotting as I've moved through trauma in my story and difficult decisions. As a person in vocational ministry, I hold people's stories on a regular basis, so to have someone like Katherine who I can divulge my soul to is so valuable. I've seen other therapists who have offered me words that weren't helpful, and in some cases harmful. Katherine is someone I trust. Katherine is absolutely incredible! I found her when I needed help working through trauma from church hurt. She helped me work through so much & really guided me process everything. I have been a Christian almost my entire life. Involved in ministry from a young age, I have always strived to stay in step with Father in my life. However, like many, I ran into a lot of obstacles as I reached my forties. Death of family members, the separation of a friend, children that have disowned me, and much more. At the time, I thought I was handling these issues in the proper way. I was praying, reading the bible, trying hard to forgive, and finding myself failing repeatedly. Around March of 2021, I told my wife I needed a counselor. I just knew I needed some help navigating my pains and struggles. I searched for a while but found nothing that seemed to fit. Then one day, I was reading our small local newspaper and saw an ad that Katherine had posted. It did not say much, but I knew I was to call. Thank goodness I did. There were a couple of things that threw me off initially. First, I was expecting to go see a counselor and sit in a chair to vent all my frustrations. Instead, she used Telehealth. I was used to this in business but had never really considered it for counseling. It was very convenient, saved travel time, and was like I was in the room, but from the comfort of my own surroundings. Second, I immediately began to understand that it was not counseling but was “Soul Care”. With Katherine’s help I was learning how to properly handle all that life was throwing at me. And to really hear what God was saying about all the issues I was dealing with. One of the methods she used is called Brainspotting. Honestly, I recoiled at this word initially. However, I found that it was a very practical way for me to focus my attention to allow God to reveal important truths to me. It was actually quite amazing. Over the following six months, my life was flipped upside down, in a good way. Katherine has one of the most awesome gifts I have ever come across. She let me talk and then in an understanding and gentle way navigated me through some of the darkest places in my heart and soul that I had never even thought to touch. Being led by Holy Spirit, she is able to ask questions and make statements that I was unable to even consider. As I answered, I began to see some of the causes for my innermost pain. With her help, I was then able to process them, repent where necessary, and come to the closest relationship I have had with God in a long time. I also should mention that I did a lot of work on my own, at Katherines direction, that was very hard. Looking into yourself can be a painful but revealing process. However, I don’t think it is an understatement to say that it was truly a miracle. The discontent, unhappy person I was a few months ago is now quite the opposite. I would encourage anyone who is questioning whether to work with Katherine, to not hesitate. Why wait to be the person God made you to be.

Katherine is extremely attentive and a great listener. She has been a huge blessing in my life and I appreciate the wisdom that she has shared. She is insightful, encouraging, and always willing to walk beside me in the process of healing. While working with Katherine, I have grown in my relationship with Jesus and learned how to hear His voice. In addition, Katherine has equipped me with many tools, including the ability to put on the Armor of God. She has a calming voice and I am forever grateful.

Katherine and her mercy, empathy, and deeply rooted faith, have been a tremendous blessing to me as I have spent time with her in therapy! In the midst of some of my hardest moments this past year, she has reminded me of Christ's care and deep love for me. What a gift she is for the Kingdom!

I can not speak highly enough of Katherine. I have been counseling with her for about 3 years now and she has been an absolute gift and blessing. She listens to your words, she uses her deep connection and relationship with the Lord to draw you to Him and to truth. The Lord has used her in my life to help process and heal from the different issues and traumas in my life. She gives you keys to continue that work outside of her.
