Online Video Counseling Sessions available. I've been to multiple Wild at Heart Boot Camps, Four Streams training, The Restoration of the Heart conference, Becoming Good Soil Intensive, and Homecoming. I have completed the Advanced Counseling Certificate Program and Externship at the Allender Center.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado and I'm here to help - whether you have a specific issue you'd like to work on or continued personal growth after your experience at a Ransomed Heart event. Just as everyone from the couch potato to the world-class athlete can benefit from the right personal trainer, I believe that everyone can reap emotional and spiritual benefits from the right counselor. Life is messy and we all have our wounds. Healing is available.

I work with individuals, couples, and families. I am available for face-to-face meetings in Monument, CO. For those who have a good wifi connection or cellular signal and limited access to quality counseling, I use ZOOM, a HIPPA compliant online video meeting service. Video sessions are a great alternative to traditional in-office therapy.

I have been working with Eric since the fall of 2019. He has been a tremendous support offering helpful insight, posing probing questions, and shoveling over endless encouragement. One of my most grateful encounters with Eric occurred when he led me through a healing prayer session, where he guided me through a painful memory and introduced me to Jesus's work in mending broken hearts... so very powerful and beautiful. I can recommend Eric with the highest confidence. His life and his gifting are truly a treasure in the Kingdom of God and the work of Christ Jesus in the world today. MDD

I would echo and confirm all of the prior reviews about Eric. My wife, Kristine, and I have been attending counseling sessions via Zoom for more than six months now. I can, and will, endorse Eric wholeheartedly to any couple who needs some assistance in just making their marriage better, or is having current difficulties in their marriage. Eric is a true Christian man! Be prepared and open to doing the necessary work to make to make your marriage, and your family, better!

This guy - oh my - a Godsend in so many ways. I sought out Eric for help in connecting with men, feeling less out of control and making that detached feeling go away. In only a few months in working with Eric, he provided the space, safety and right questions to propel me forward. He gave me optional homework to stretch me in so many ways. What, you want me to ask another guy to have a beer with me? You want me to ask my wife is she feels needed? Gulp. And he knows Wild at Heart tools very well, which became a language we could draw from! I can't say enough good things about this Godly man. Five plus stars all the way bro! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This won't be the last time we work together.

It has been five months since I began talking with Eric. I can say that my original review was very accurate, but someone limited due to the length of time I had known him. Now, I can say with the utmost confidence that I would recommend Eric to everyone with excitement. He is a caring, easy-going, brilliant listener that quickly poses carefully considered questions that allow one to reflect inward, open up to God, and receive the true healing Jesus spoke of in the gospels. There is no judgement, no pressure, and I can move at my own pace if I like, but he is faithful to pray over every session and allow Jesus to work. I have found healing for my heart that I never even knew I needed. I am able to forgive. I am no longer blaming others for the hurt I received, but removing agreements that I made due to the wounds or abuse. I am on my way to true freedom. I no longer struggle like it did before with anxiety and depression. Still working on them, but wow is it easier with Jesus working on me. Thank you to Eric and his wonderful family for giving the rest of the world the time, talent, and expertise that Jesus blessed Eric with. A true blessing from God.

Eric is my counselor. I am also a counselor with a full private practice. I have been meeting with him for quite some time on a weekly or biweekly basis. He is the bomb-diggity and has been very helpful for me. I found it difficult to be able to open up as a mental health professional with my own struggles and story. I have found him to be warm, inviting, an absolute professional, and just downright enjoyable. Give this dude a shot. He knows Jesus. These waters are deep.

I have had the privilege of getting to know Eric as a friend & am so excited for the opportunity to recommend him for counseling services. Eric is a kind man with a gentle presence & a great sense of humor. He is intimately familiar with the Wild at Heart message & the way he relates to others is evidence of that. I would happily & confidently refer a friend or family member to take the descent into their heart & their story with Eric as their guide.

I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Eric for the last five years. During this time, I have watched Eric serve his clients with care and compassion. Eric has used his God-given gifts as a therapist to treat his clients with care, compassion and a high level of expertise. I never hesitate to recommend Eric to my friends and colleagues to ask for a referral for a therapist who can serve them well.

I've had the experience of knowing Eric for about 7 years now. He's one of my greatest friends and I have always trusted him, his values, and his judgement. Plus, he's got a fantastic family! I deeply respect him as a man who follows the heart that God gave him. Eric listens with great intent and cares for you as a person. He is the best listener that I have ever met. I highly recommend him as a counselor and someone who will help guide you to freedom.

I have had the honor to work with Eric as a colleague for five years. He continually impresses me with his integrity and passion for his work. He is an outstanding clinician and has a very special way of working with people. Eric has an uncanny ability to spot and address the elephant in the room while ensuring his clients feel safe and empowered. He is patient and respectful of his clients and works with people in a way that provides a therapeutic working experience. Eric has the strength to allow others to be heard; he is kind and thoughtful, while still challenging unhealthy behaviors or helping people make desired changes. Eric has always shown an ability to keep confidences, honor commitments and act in a candid and straightforward manner. It is without hesitation that I recommend Eric as an exceptional therapist.

Selecting a counselor can be a difficult experience. I give Eric Burton my highest endorsement and appreciate his initial consultation evaluation process which accounts for individual concerns and economic circumstances on a case by case basis. I have consulted with Eric Burton on multiple subject matters and find him to be one of the best resources in my network for honest, comprehensive, and meaningful counseling matters. He relates well to adolescents, young adults, and adults due to his unique blend of kindness, confidence, and his lifestyle of high adventure. He has a broad and well-rounded area of expertise and experience. His area of advanced skill and certification is in counseling with addiction elements. I am very familiar with the Wild at Heart product, philosophy and mission and utilize them in foundational approaches to life. Eric is a great coach and example for those who see or seek the value of the Wild at Heart vision. He instills a sense of value and respect with whom he encounters and works. Kevin S.

Eric is a friend, former colleague and mentor. As a fellow therapist, I have nothing but respect and admiration for his commitment to God, dedication to his family and his passion for helping others. He is truly utilizing his God given gifts in his work as a therapist and is absolutely committed to helping people find peace, balance and joy in their own lives. Eric's Godly wisdom, encouragement and listening ear will be an asset to anyone seeking support. Plus, he has a fantastic sense of humor and he is an amazing rock climber, which, in my opinion, makes him pretty much the coolest counselor around. Really though, if you are looking for an ally in this journey we call life, Eric is where I would start.

Hey everyone, I highly recommend Eric as counselor. I have worked with him in a counseling arena, prayed alongside him, attend a Wild at Heart Bootcamp with him, and participated in an Allies Men's Group with him. Eric is an excellent man, well versed in the Wild at Heart Message and utilizes the Four Streams in his work. His desire is to help bring the freedom that Christ offers to people, and he does so very well. If you are seeking freedom and life to the fullest through Christ, let Eric help you get there.

Just want to start by disclaiming that I'm Eric's brother. I&'m also the Director of Events for Wild at Heart Ministries. That being said, I would highly recommend Eric for anyone seeking deeper healing and growth. As John E says at the end of Boot Camp when referring to the picture of ‘MyBunkie‘, ‘you can't be the one rescuing others until you are willing to be the one rescued‘. Eric has put in the hard work of healing and restoration in his own life. While he is a highly qualified, trained and liscensed counselor; he has a strong grasp on the 4 streams and walks with God in helping others navigate their world.

Hi Guys, I would recommend Eric as a counselor for those of us coming from a ransomed heart mindset (and I imagine other mindsets as well). Eric has an easy demeanor that gets you digging into your life without realizing that you have even begun. I had a few sessions with Eric, and while it was short term I really feel that I benefited from it in regard to identifying areas of my life that are still reflecting the old self. As a future counselor myself I see Eric as a good example of what I hope to emulate in my own practice. Thanks!

I'm Eric's wife Stacey, and an employee at Wild at Heart. Counseling is truly Eric's calling and while he is my husband first, he has also helped me in an extraordinary way over the past 17 years to grow and become more of who God has created me to be. Encouraging and challenging me to choose joy and life--not to stay in my familiar self-destructive ways. I am grateful for his calling and grateful God put him in my life. A little biased maybe…but I believe he has been given a gift, and he'll help you!
