DATE & TIME: Saturday, January 22, from 12-2 PM Central Standard Time
Ever wondered where your dreams come from and if God is trying to use some of them to speak to you? Interestingly, one-third of the Bible tells or relates to dreams and visions, and one-third of our lives is spent asleep! Scripture reveals many instances in which dreams played a powerful role in the lives of individuals, families, and communities. If God spoke to people through dreams and visions in Biblical times, how much more so might He be speaking to us through dreams and visions now?
In this class, we will explore the following:
*Biblical passages which directly connect to dreams
*The difference between Biblical dream interpretation and a psychological model of dream interpretation
*Various sources of dreams
*Types of dreams
*Most common dreams
*How to begin healthy Biblical interpretation of dreams
After years of studying and teaching Scripture and paying attention to dreams, God led me into a specific study of how those who have walked closely with Jesus, rooted themselves in the Bible, and spent decades developing the skill of healthy dream interpretation learned how to discern the voice of God when He speaks through dreams. My background is in education and ministry, but it is out of the firsthand journey into which God led me that I share what I have learned with others in hopes they will glean insights into how God may be speaking to them through their dreams today!
Registration: $25 suggested donation (can be paid after the class); this also covers an optional dream-processing follow-up workshop
