In order for a man to get his heart back, he's got to take a journey.

Boot Camp Iowa is based on Wild At Heart Boot Camp, led by John Eldredge, author of Wild At Heart. Wild At Heart is a four-day quest into the recovery of the masculine soul. Boot Camp Iowa encompasses video recording of John Eldredge plus live presentations from local Christian men.

Through teaching sessions that go deep into the message of Wild At Heart, guided times of personal reflection, and optional adventures, Boot Camp is more than a retreat-it is an expedition of the heart. You will never be the same.

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God.

• We believe in the One True God, The Sovereign, eternal Creator of all that exists, both seen and unseen. God is eternally existent in three persons, yet one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

• We believe that when a person exercises saving faith in Christ, he passes, immediately, out of spiritual death into spiritual life and from the old creation into the new, a new nature and a new heart imparted; being justified freely by grace, he is accepted before the Father as Christ, His Son, is accepted and loved as Christ is loved--having his place and portion linked to Christ and one with Christ - forever.

I have been to boot camp Iowa for 10 years now. I have also been to Wild at Heart Boot Camps in the mountains of Colorado with John Eldredge leading them. They both have had the same impact on me personally. I disconnect from the world. Hour buckets of time to go out side in silence and be alone with God multiple times a day. JESUS ALWAYS SHOW UP !!

I have been to retreats before but nothing like this one. It took me into a relationship with Jesus that before I really didn't think could exist. This is such a foundation for me now which helps with everything I do. I have been several times and each time it just gets better for me.

God will use this time powerfully with other men who are coming together to seek God. Each year whether I am attending or apart of the team, God has used this time to truly impact my life. With all the craziness around us, there is something powerful when we separate time to go after HIM! The Iowa event is set up exceptionally, with attention to detail. The site where it is held is perfect for the event and you will regret not attending this Camp.

About 8 years ago I attended this boot camp on a whim, little did I know at the time that it would be the catalyst that Jesus would use to change the entire trajectory of my family, my business and the wholeness of my heart. I have been to Wild at Heart boot camp about 10 times now and each time God takes me deeper into more healing, more restoration and I come into the next season with more freedom for my soul. This boot camp is for any man that is in a place in his life where he can humbly say he doesn't have all the answers and within him is a burning desire for freedom and wholeheartedness.
