Our Story

True Man was started in the winter of 2018 with the idea that no man should go it alone, and no man should ever be left behind.  Like many men, we looked into our hearts and found anger, lust, fear, and more!

Henry David Thoreau wrote, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”  Does that sound familiar?  A line in the movie Braveheart says, “All men die; few men ever really live!”  Is that what you are feeling?

We were!​

And so the True Men group began: men looking for adventure, a safe place of sharing, learning, and discovering the secret of a man’s soul together as brothers.

Our Community

We are professionals, laborers, husbands, fathers, and brothers who gather every Friday morning at 7:15.  We gather together and celebrate Jesus Christ, True God and True Man.  We are driven by authentic and Christ-driven relationships.  We support, love, and trust one another as we grow and develop into the True Man God call’s us to be.  We invite you to join us or contact us for further information.

Is God a part of how you make life happen?  Would a group of men that understands and is on the same or similar journey you’re on help? If you are looking for restoration, guidance, mentorship, or men to talk too, you have come to the right place. God has something in mind.  He is deeply and personally committed to restoring humanity.  Restoring you.  He had a specific man in mind when he made you. 

At True Man, we are committed to understanding where we fit in God’s larger story and the man He wants us to be. We come broken, hungry, and desperate looking for God, peace, and understanding. We want to hear your story and share with you the larger story God has in store for you!
