Why "Revival Town Ministries?"

The inspiration actually comes from a song by the band, Delirious. I am 30 years old and I have noticed in my connections with fellow Christians and other young adults that my generation is a broken generation. We are a long way from what Tom Brokaw dubbed, "The Greatest Generation."

The things the generation I am a part of have faced include broken homes (divorce), drug addiction, bullying, self worth issues, consumerism, and a cultural shift that attempts to remove God from life. We are indeed a "broken generation."

The good news? There is hope. There is a way to redemption. There is still a remnant of people who believe that the best hasn't happened yet. There is a people that is set apart and ready to bring revival to their town.

See, a wildfire doesn't "just happen." It starts with a single spark and then spreads with reckless abandon. The same can be said for every move of God throughout history. Moses sparked an Exodus; Esther saved her people; David showed humanity what a heart for God looks like; Paul ignited people everywhere he went through various hardships; They were all sparks to a movement.

Yes, we are a broken generation, but I believe that we are ready to change that - no matter who is President, no matter what laws are passed, and no matter what our financial circumstances are. We are at the heart of the matter, a dancing generation ready for revival.
