HISmen is a ministry of encouragement and connection for men and boys based out of DaySpring Church.

The purpose of HISmen is to serve men by encouraging them, challenging them to go further, equipping and training them to excel, resourcing them, and providing opportunity for practical adventure and experience.  We run a variety of meetings and events.

"HIS" stands for Honour, Integrity, Spirit. Three essential ingredients in a healthy man's makeup.

The HISmen Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for equipping, fellowship, prayer and ministry. We welcome men of all ages, from boys to men aged 100+.

We have been meeting together since 2008. It is a strong band of brothers that welcomes all men who are interested in experiencing great fellowship and encouragement. Take the journey with us!

And we LOVE the Ransomed Heart message!  33 of us attended the Wild at Heart Boot Camp in Sydney in 2018.

Joined these guys 7 1/2 years ago when we moved from NZ. They became life blood. Men of honour who walked alongside making it all a little easier. We’ve returned to NZ now and HISmen and these brothers have been hard to replace. Kia Kaha.

This intimate group of warriors is a lifeblood for my weekly faith, masculinity, accountability and community. I've been connected in with these 'refreshing' 6:30am Wednesday morning starts for a few years and I can't possibly measure the huge, positive impact it has had on me, my family, our church and our community. It's a furnace for prayer in which the "prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective", bringing change to individuals and families, imparting healing to the sick and wounded, giving jobs for the jobless and hope for the hopeless. Make the sacrifice of time and start your Wednesday workday with this dash of worship, discussion, prayer and a cafe breakfast, you won't be disappointed. There's also a Saturday morning group too.
