Becoming a King Retreat The Becoming a King retreat is a shared experience of the like-hearted choosing to become the kind of men to whom God is glad to entrust the care of His Kingdom.
Every boy knows he was made to be powerful. As an acorn carries the blueprint of the oak tree, so the heart of every boy holds the possibility of becoming a wholehearted king whose strength brings goodness to all under his care. Yet the headlines often confirm what we know too well from our own stories: the anguished consequences of masculine power gone awry.
Curated and distilled over two decades, the message of Becoming a King offers a path to restore the hearts of men in the image of our strong, present, wise, and loving God.

The retreat center will allow 16 participants. Once it fills up, I will keep a waiting list in the event of any who need to dropout.

Once you have registered I will contact you for payment information. The cost of the weekend will be $195.00 per person. This will cover the fee for lodging and food for the weekend.
* All linens, pillows and towels are provided. Bring your own extra pillow and extra blankets, sleeping bag, etc, if desired
* Filtered water will be available on site, but you might consider bringing some bottled water with you. Drinking water from the tap is not advisable.
* Bring snacks that you like and wouldn't mind sharing. Also bring drinks that you like.
The facility has a generator to provide electricity. We will only use the generator during the sessions to run the videos. Appliances and hot water are gas powered. Feel free to bring flashlights, lamps, candles, etc. for lighting.

You might also want to consider getting a copy of the Becoming a King Study guide as well, but it isn't necessary for the retreat. You will be receiving a note taking book as part of your registration.**
