A man needs a deeper understanding of his masculine heart—and why God made him just like that. What if those deep desires in our hearts are telling us the truth, revealing to us the lives we were meant to live? A man must know he is powerful; he must know he has what it takes. The way we handle the heart is everything. Basic is not a retreat about the “seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy.” It is a four-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart—his passions and his true nature—all given him by God.
During the 4 days set on the Shangri-La ranch next to Ash Creek in Toquerville, you will participate in a multi-media experience which will help you discover something profound about your own heart and the heart of God.
This isn’t your typical retreat. You will not be asked to break into small groups and share your feelings. Instead you will hear from other men living an intentional life in pursuit of the heart of God. Bring your fishing gear and/or kayak for the stocked pond, your swimsuit for the pool or pond, and your hiking boots for the trails. Past attendees have indicated that this weekend has been a transformational experience in their walk with God.
Cost is $150 to cover lodging. Bring your own meals that take less than 10 minutes to prepare and clean up.
Arrive between 5-6pm Aug 20th. We'll be done by noon Aug 23rd.
In order to make this a transformational experience, we ask you to disconnect from your world during the event. Please commit to no cell phones, wifi, or work.
