Basic is not a retreat about the “seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy.” It is a four-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart—his passions and his true nature—all given him by God.
Hello! My name is John Wilson and I am excited to bring Wild at Heart BASIC to North Texas! This is no ordinary men's retreat. No breakout sessions or small groups. Just awesome teaching by John and his team via video followed by time alone with the Father.
Location:
Riverbend Retreat Center (https://www.riverbend.camp) is located on the Brazos river near Glen Rose, Texas. It is 80 miles (1.5 hours) southwest of Dallas.
Lodging:
Cedar Bluff Lodge includes 12 private motel-style rooms. Each room has one queen bed, two twin beds and a private bath. There will be two men per room. All linens provided.
Registration:
Registration fee of $250 covers your lodging, meals (Thursday evening dinner through Sunday lunch) and all of the teaching (video sessions) by Wild at Heart for the duration of the weekend. The registration fee is non refundable.
