A man needs a deeper understanding of his masculine heart—and why God made him just like that. What if those deep desires in our hearts are telling us the truth, revealing to us the lives we were meant to live? A man must know he is powerful; he must know he has what it takes. The way we handle the heart is everything. Basic is not a retreat about the “seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy.” It is a four-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart—his passions and his true nature—all given him by God.
Rhema Ranch is a privately owned homestead nestled in the woodlands of the LBJ National Grasslands (https://www.fs.usda.gov/texas) in Wise County, Texas. The homestead/ranch is located just north of Decatur, Texas (the county seat) and perfectly situated outside the hustle and bustle of the DFW metroplex, yet close enough to accommodate visitors arriving via DFW International Airport (45 to 60-minute drive). There are countless beautiful options to spread out and be alone with God during our breakout sessions. If you feel like being active, play some basketball on the full-size basketball court, relax in the swimming pool, or go for a hike and explore. In addition to the ranch, the surrounding LBJ government land provides many thousands of acres for hiking, mountain biking, fishing on picturesque lakes, and seeing all kinds of wildlife.
Our fellowship is made up of a small group of family and friends who love Jesus and want to see His Kingdom advance. We believe the Wild at Heart approach to building a "band of brothers" is the exact model that Jesus used to profoundly impact the hearts of his followers and make disciples. And we feel honored to be able to host Wild at Heart Basic camps.
You'll be fed some incredible meals while attending, prepared by the wonderful women of our fellowship, with several of the meals consisting of homegrown beef raised at Rhema Ranch. Please let us know if you have any food allergies in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

The total cost of the camp is $175 (with a $50 nonrefundable deposit, due at sign up). Your registration fee covers your lodging, meals (Thursday evening dinner through Sunday breakfast) and all of the teaching (video sessions) and materials by Wild at Heart for the duration of the weekend. Additional recreational supplies such as moutain bikes and fishing gear, etc. are not included. Participants must bring their own towels, shower supplies, and any additional personal items (rain gear, hiking boots, basketball shoes, smokes, etc.). Enrollment is limited, so please act quickly if you want to be a part of this camp.
Additionally, a shuttle service is available for those traveling to and from the airport for $50 round-trip.
Wild at Heart Basic camps are truly life changing experiences. You'll leave with new friendships, greater clarity about yourself, and more importantly a rediscovery of your "wild heart", as you connect with your Father who created it.
